X-Flat Ties
X-Flat Ties are commonly used for residential foundations when the 1" standard breakback is not required. The end of the tie extends beyond the back of the form for quick inspection of tie location.

We stock 8", 9", 10", &12" ties in 100 piece boxes.

Sizes up to 48" are stocked in 100 piece bundles.

Wedge bolts are available in 500 piece boxes.

For use with plywood & Jahn forming systems.

4-3/4" & 8-1/4" ends with washers are stocked in 8", 9", 10" & 12" lengths.

100 pieces per box.
Other sizes and ties with cones are available on special order.
Snap tie wedges are available in 100 piece boxes.

The Poly-Cone tie features a high density polyethylene cone-washer with the flexibility to allow for oversized plywood and 2x4's.

This cone-washer cannot absorb moisture or stick to the concrete, causing breakback problems.

A smoothe, uniform hole results after breakbacks, allowing easier grouting and faster, better finishing.

The S-Base Tie has an upturned loop at each end which projects up through the bottom rail.

Wedge Bolts are inserted through the loop end to secure the tie and panel.

The S-Base Ties are used for small retaining walls or against existing walls

Used to stiffen and align the walls by utilizing 2" x 4" vertical stiffbacks where applicable. Used in conjunction with our standard wedges.

B-2 Four Strut Coil Tie

Dayton/Richmond Coil Ties are strong, resistance welded ties designed for medium and heavy forming applications. Coil tie products are avilable in two or four struts, with screw-on plastic cones and water-resistant versions. 1/2", 3/4", 1" and 1-1/4" diameters are available.

The coil tie can be used as a combination tie and form spreader when it is not necessary to keep the ends of the tie back from the face of the concrete. If a number of form reuse is contemplated, standard cut washers
should be used at the tie ends to protect the form face.

D-9 Taper Ties

Dayton/Richmond D-9 and D-19 Taper Ties are used where specifications permit complete removal of the form tie from the concrete. They are manufactured with either Acme or coil thread and with up to 75" of taper.

Dayton/Richmond She-Bolts are high strength units suitable for heavy concrete construction. Manufactured with either Acme or Coil external threads, they provide a positive system for use with gang and/or steel forms. She-Bolts are used in conjuction with inside tie rods.

Dayton/Richmond D-1 and D-18 Inside Tie Rods for She-Bolts are manufactured in three styles: plain, with flats and continuous thread. Positive stops and/or water-resistant models are available.

Inside tie rods are used with she-bolts to provide a highly adaptable forming system. The inside tie rods are made from high carbon steel with coil threads. National coarse threads can be provided on special order.
The correct inside tie rod length is determined by subtracting the total required setback (both sides) from the wall thickness. Flats are available to prevent turning of the inside tie rods in the concrete and are recommended for wall thickness of 24" or less.

Vinylex

Dayton Superior's Vinylex Waterstop prevents water movement through concrete joints in a number of applications, including reservoirs, locks, dams, sewage and water treament plants, bridges, stadiums, basements, floor slabs, parking garages, and many other structures.

Dayton Superior has established a reputation for producing only the finest extruded plastic products. Only virgin resins are used in Vinylex Waterstop... never reprocessed or reclaimed materials.

Vinylex Waterstop is elastic and abrasion resistant and it has a high resistance to oxygen, ozone, alkalies or waterborne chemicals which allows it to be used in any subterranean or surface construction.

Vinylex ribbed center waterstops are emplyed in expansion joints where movement between members is anticipated. They are generally used above grade, but are a universal design and can be used in any type of joint above or below grade.

Split Ribbed Waterstop with Center Bulb

Vinylex split ribbed center waterstops are use in either construction or expansion joints where elimination of split form work is feasible. The split leg of the waterstop is spread open and nailed to the bulkhead. When the form work is removed folowing completion of the first pour, the split leg is joined together and the second pour is completed.

Dumbbell

Vinylex dumbbell waterstops are used in construction joints where movement between members is not anticipated. They are usually used below grade and in horizontal applications. Dumbbell waterstops with a centerbulb are also suitable for use where movement between members is anticipated.

Flat Ribbed

Vinylex flat ribbed waterstops are emplyed in construction joints where movement between members is not anticipated. They are generally used below grade in footings, walls, slabs, or for breaks in concrete due to limitations in working methods.
